We are beyond excited to bring TEDx to Florida A&M University’s campus and alumni network! TEDx Events, an independently organized TED event, provides communities with a platform to share unique ideas that foster thought-provoking conversations. To ensure that we put forth a memorable event that represents the diversity and excellence of TEDx and FAMU, we are inviting all current FAMU students, faculty & staff, and alumni to apply to be a speaker. Please refer to the following information when forming your speech:

1. The speaker lineup will not be confirmed until mid-December, candidates are not guaranteed a spot on the lineup until then.
2. Candidates must attend our mandatory speaker workshops
3. Speakers must be present in person for the dress rehearsal
4. Speakers must be present in person for the event
